Math & the Universe...

The question of anybody out there has intrigued us for centuries. So many science fiction movies, tv shows, books have fed on this premise that someday even if aliens do come on earth, we may as well recognize them :) And then what? Well, the opinion varies from something as mild as sharing of knowledge to intergalactic wars. But one thing is for sure, if they ever talk to us, they will do it in numbers... whether those numbers will be pulsed signals at varying frequencies, or some sort of cipher encoded in a trivial message, it will surely be math.
